Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) has announced that EVA Film Plant (EVA), an affiliate of Sipchem owned by Saudi Specialized Products Company (SSPC), has commenced its commercial operations on Tuesday, 1^st January.

The EVA Film plant's performance tests were completed successfully, confirming the plant’s annual production capacity of 4,000 metric tonnes (MT) of Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Film, according to a company statement.

“The financial impact of full commercial operations will be reflected in the company's financial results as of the first quarter of 2019,” the Tadawul-listed firm added.

Located in Hail Industrial City, the project is the first of its kind in the GCC region, with an estimated cost of SAR 150 million.
